CATHOLIC CULTURE FILM SERIES
The Black & White & Beautiful
Come and enjoy a great film on the big screen right in our parish hall. This series will be led by Kathryn Wales who put on a similar event when she was the program coordinator at Notre Dame’s Center for Ethics and Culture. Kathryn has a passion for sharing and discussing films that are rich in theological content, either overtly or in more surprising ways. The first four selections are all black and white treasures which celebrate themes such as heroic patience, fortitude, and self-gift. Feel free to attend any or all that you can. Show time is 7:30pm in the parish hall with discussion to follow. Popcorn and drinks provided.
On December 13th, we are showing the 1962 film, To Kill a Mockingbird: Atticus Finch, a lawyer in the Depression-era South, defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge, and his children against prejudice.
