Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration Sign-Up

Because Christ himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration.  “To visit the Blessed Sacrament is … a proof of gratitude, an expression of love, and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord.” (Paul VI, MF 66) (CCC 1418)

St. Anthony’s offers adoration most Saturday mornings, following 8 a.m. mass, until noon.

“He is not past, He is present now. And though He is not seen, He is here. The same God who walked the water, who did miracles, etc., is in the Tabernacle. We come before Him, we speak to Him just as He was spoken to … years ago.”

– Saint John Henry Newman
